Info from Sherri:
I played drums, Chris Means on vocals, Eric Baffert on Guitar, Sharon Daddi on Bass. We practiced in our living room. We did one studio recording.
Panache Workout Mix – 25 Fitness Steps To Ruin Your Listening Pleasure
Part 2 of the Panache Magazine compilations. This one came out right about when I moved away from Eureka, not sure if I was around for its release. This one has several more tracks than the first, and I think this is a great general mix of bands/songs. You can sure tell there were more bands forming around this time.
Panache Magazine – Inventing Masochistic Airwaves
The first installment of Panache Magazine compilations from Michelle C. I am pretty sure this came out in late ’99 or early 2000. 20 songs from various bands. There are some oddballs here!
Sin Men – The Sin Men Are Dead
This here is the last recorded Sin Men release – courtesy of Jensen. Great record! Also, it is so interesting to use this site to sort of track the band as they moved through time. I guess that is one of the reasons I like doing this.
Nipplepotomus
The only info i have on this band are the members (verbatim from some notes i found):
guitar sam eliot
guitar dums sam andrew
bass drums carl merideth
Dorf – Ransom Note – 1986/1987
Jimmy, Jesse W, & Nigel Hill with the beginning of what Jimmy calls the “Dorf/Slug/Frottage trilogy” from ’86 to ’89. Some good old fashioned Humboldt punk/metal.
WD40 – Demonumberone
Seminal Humboldt County punk band here with Steve B on drums, Jim S on guitar, Brian F on bass, Eric B and Justin on vocals. Recorded March of 1990 at Studio 117 on 4-track.
Chickenfoot – Live & Die on KHSU – September 1986
Straight-up weird-but-cool mid-eighties rock songs with some punk sprinkled in. I like the twinkly guitars. Anyone have any info?
Frottage – In The Kitchen – November 1987
I really know absolutely nothing about this band. Some good old fashioned American hardcore with some dashes of weird. Check it out. Hoping Jimmy can shed some light!
Leftovers – Me Drunk You Long Time ’88
More alcohol-fueled late 80’s freak rock here fromn Chris Means, Eric Baffert, John Bishop, and Jimmy Forbes
