This is Bandon and Nick Audio Wreck era. Some seriously rare shit on here including the short-lived theremin I built in a blue lunchbox. That thing survived 1 practice and 2 shows I believe. This also has rare never-heard Birthday Song tracks.
Fur Brothers And Other Masters
Here are some CC songs as well as several Fur Brothers takes. Jungle.
Candy Muscle
I owe you song titles. I am looking through everything for the cover with all the info. it’s driving me a little batty. anyhow, I think this is Robb’s first Candy Muscle release. He gave this to me in ’99 or ’00. Miss him.
Audio Lobotomies – First Show
First Audio Lobotomies show that wasn’t a party. Tons of covers here – basically our entire discography before we started doing our own stuff. This was recorded on a 4 track and this is a random mix down of the show. Looking for the original tape to get some better sound.
My Name Is Chris – Practice 1992
Rough and chunky exactly like it is supposed to be. This tape took some repair work.
Eureka Garbage Company – 2007
Rad Garbage Company stuff. I’m pretty sure this was never fully released. 5 killer songs recorded by Freel.
Couch – Year Of The Zombie — And Other Rarities
Nice version of ‘Year Of The Zombie’ along with some rarities after the Couch record. I hear some Peschel and friends getting weird. Get it!
Legendary Socks – Master
And in parachutes Eli Rothman with the wobbly bass in the back of the A street house. Robb, Eli, and Chris. Some of these songs became Audio Wreck demos, and Pills was on the ‘Horrible New Year’ comp.
Great Depressions / Six-Volt Amps – Pantera Tape
So you can sort of see what I am dealing with here. So many of these tapes are either not labeled, or just mislabeled like this one. The last thing I think of when I am listening to 6VA is Pantera! Also, this is the best sound I have been able to get out of any Great Depressions stuff so far.
Six-Volt Amps – 6 Volt
Here are about 45 minutes of 6-Volt Amps. Lots of instrumentals. Several practices worth of working up songs. Jesse get’s back on the mic about half way through.
