Here are some later Sin Men instrumentals – these are studio takes with lots of banter type stuff in between. Check out the jah shit at the end!
Locust Furnace
This shit is a Eureka institution. Heshers unite!
Raw Buffy Swayze
This is interesting – just the piano and backing drums for a Buffy Swayze song. I am guessing Jesse had this to practice vocals to?
Benny, Ray, and Jesse – 11/16/1997
This tape is rad. It starts off with a trippy Shine On Sweet Ladybug by Ethan, and is followed by an entire tape of the dudes working up a song – The Bees. That ended up getting played by the Glowbugs at Gilman. Track 24 comes around and we basically have what seems to be a people switch and CC is suddenly in. So the tape goes on and on and finally last track at the end, ‘The Bees’ all comes together.
My Name Is Chris – Days Of Slack
CC, Utrillo, and Ben come together for the first MNIC demo.
Taped Machines – Eureka Skyline
The dudes all came out to Nashville to record this around 2014 or so. CC, Jesse, Mcgonagle, Swan, and myself doing what it is we do. Records still on sale!
Glitter Doll
I don’t know a ton about this guy other than he got very ill and ended up playing in Nuns With Guns in a wheelchair at one point. I think this Glitter Doll stuff is pretty rad. late 80’s/early 90’s sometime in that zone.
Electric Nate’s Set – Recorded 03/12/2002 by Chris G
Here is some Nate P. howling at the moon. Recorded in Santa Cruz?
Nate Pierce-Vocals, guitar, sax
Keith Krate-Lead guitar, backing vocals
Michael Chappell-Drums
My Name Is Chris – 2 Song Master
Here is what seems to be a master tape with a couple My Name Is Chris songs. Thinking it is a master tape as it is only about 6 minutes per side and seems to be a high-quality tape.
Sin Men – Cosmonauts Single
I love this fucking song. Cuts off at the end though – the tape wasn’t long enough. lol.
